Misty Hayes

I like to think compassion is my superpower. I’m certain my family and friends think it’s sarcasm. Born and raised in the Midwest (Minnesnowta), I moved to Colorado in 1998, started a family in 1999, and attended business school at the University of Colorado. In 2003 I graduated Summa Cum Laude (top of my class!) and decided to pursue my life-long dream of practicing law. After graduating from S.J. Quinney College of Law (UT) in 2008, I moved once and for all, and was admitted to the Washington State Bar Administration.

I have practiced almost exclusively in family law and family-related matters since I was admitted to practice; in May of 2011 I began working for MSO Law, and I expanded my practice to include estate planning and probate work under the guidance of the best two mentors a girl could ask for.

I am admitted to practice in US Federal Court, US Bankruptcy Court, and all Washington State courts. I also became a certified Guardian ad Litem in 2015 to facilitate my ability and desire to help families (especially children) in crisis.
